Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum congratulated Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai Football club for winning President’s Cup & Arabian Gulf League Cup 2018/2019.
While receiving the team in Zabeel Palace, in presence of Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, Chairman of Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai and First Deputy Chairman of Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, and Second Deputy Chairman HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Chairman of the board of Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai Company HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness praised the efforts of the team and its results during the current year.
“I am sportsman just like you, and always seek for first place. We do our best to achieve our objectives and ambitions, and we can’t achieve our objective unless we work hard,” His Highness addressed the team. His Highness also advised the team to maintain positivity and sportsmanship in the field and in daily life, adding that sportsmen are role model for everyone.
His Highness also wished the team best of luck in future competition, especially as they are tasked to maintain the same achievement next year, or achieve better results.
