More Than 20 Hours of Dubai+ Content on Emirates ICE

Dubai+ will introduce new content every month through the ICE inflight entertainment system on Emirates flights, offering passengers a growing selection of drama, entertainment, cultural and knowledge-based programming.

The October line-up features around 10 programmes and 35 episodes, providing more than 20 hours of content. The selection combines Dubai+ original productions with programmes and series from Dubai TV and Sama Dubai.

The drama line-up includes Dara, Banat Abdulghani, 33, Trend, Wadima Wa Halima, Akher Al Shahr, Al Sirk, Bab Al Seen, Danoun and Afkar Omi.

Passengers can also watch a selection of programmes including Al Mofattesh Faseeh, Basamat, Dar Al Hay, Qiyam and Nature with Ali Bin Thalith, in addition to the Shifra podcast and other productions.

The Dubai+ selection joins the ICE entertainment library, which features around 6,500 channels in more than 40 languages, giving Emirati and Arabic productions greater exposure among international audiences.

Partnership Expands the Global Reach of Emirati and Arabic Content

Salem Balyouha, Executive Director of the Media Content Sector at Dubai Media Incorporated, expressed pride in the partnership with Emirates, highlighting its role in expanding the reach of Dubai+ productions and introducing them to diverse audiences around the world.

He said: “The content industry in the UAE and the region is developing rapidly, driven by creative talent capable of producing works that combine high production quality with rich and diverse storytelling, while reflecting our identity and culture through a contemporary perspective.”

Balyouha noted that Dubai+ continues to strengthen its presence across the Arab media landscape through an extensive library featuring original productions, drama series, and cultural, educational and entertainment programmes designed to appeal to different audience segments.

He added: “Through Dubai+, Dubai Media Incorporated is committed to investing in high-quality content, supporting content creators and expanding the channels through which their work reaches audiences.

“Our partnership with Emirates is an extension of this approach, bringing together Dubai Media Incorporated’s expertise in content production and the airline’s global reach. It provides a model for integration and collaboration between both parties, while offering passengers a more diverse entertainment experience and introducing them to a selection of distinctive Emirati and Arab stories and productions.”
