Hamdan bin Mohammed inspects Dubai Metro’s garage in Rashidiya

Dubai Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) projects and initiatives that used artificial intelligence that aims to make commuters journey smooth and easy.

His Highness’ remarks came as he visited Dubai Metro parking garage in Rashidiya, where he was welcomed by Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA. His Highness reviewed two futuristic transportation projects, Unibike and Unicar which are more energy efficient. His Highness also inspected the new metro trains, and the new internal design of the trains, which is set to increase capacity by 8% from 643 passengers to 696 passengers. His Highness was also briefed about the various maintenance workshops and the application of the artificial intelligence across the various RTA’s solutions and systems.
