Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development participated in the preparation of filling foodstuff (known as Al Mir Al Ramadani) to assist 1000 chastity families i.e. who are in need but do not ask for charity-and people with limited income in the emirates, in coordination and cooperation with several charity associations and the ministry’s partners in the community.
Held at the Customers’ Happiness Center in Ajman of the Ministry of Community Development, Saif Al Nuaimi Director of UAE Red Crescent, Ahmed Al Raisi, Director of Ajman Youth Center, several volunteers of different ages and community members who are registered in the platform “volunteers.ae” participated in filling the Mir. Also younger generations, children, senior emiratis and people of determination as well as representatives from government and private sectors in Ajman participated too.
Al Mir Al Ramadani is based on collecting basic foodstuff that are needed for each family during the holy month of Ramadan to be distributed for accruing families through the community development centers (10 centers) at the Ministry which are distributed all over the emirates. The Ramadani Mir is held in cooperation with Dubai Charity Association, chastity family committee in Um Al Qiwain, Red Crescent in Um Al Qiwain, Saud Bin Rashid Charity Foundation, Al Ajmani Charity Establishment, Sharjah Charity House, chastity families’ committee in Dar Al Ber Association, Dubai and Emirates Dates Factory.
