Mohammed bin Rashid meets UN Deputy Secretary-General

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received today in Madinate Jumeirah in Dubai, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed. Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations reviewed the agenda of the 2nd edition of the UN World Data Forum, which takes place from 22-24 October in Dubai, and attracted more than 2500 experts from 120 countries. His Highness welcomed the guests of the event, which is organized hosted by Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, and wished that the outcomes of the event will lead to solutions that help attending countries achieving their sustainable development objectives.

The UN Deputy Secretary-General thanked His Highness for the support and the logistics facilities that helped in success of the event.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for International Cooperation H.E. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State for Happiness and Quality of Life H.E. Uhoud Khalfan Al Roumi, and Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, and Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Director General of Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority.
